Description The Zep Boys offer an unforgettable show with note perfect performances of the most famous and biggest rock band in history... Led Zeppelin.
During 1973, after Led Zeppelin had made their only appearance in the capital cities of Australia, rock fans everywhere lay idle, developing an excessive, almost obsessive thirst to re-live moments of live Led Zeppelin magic. Although their dream was never to be realised, Led Zeppelin went on to record a wealth of material and collect a decade of young fans. The mid 70s saw the release of Houses Of The Holy and Physical Graffitti, then The Song Remains The Same, Presence and finally In Through The Out Door, to turn Led Zeppelin into the most famous of Rock Legends. The full house sign is up two hours before the show, there is a feeling of magic and mystery in the air, the chants of "Zeppelin, Zeppelin, Zeppelin," can be heard from outside the venue and the nervous energy reaches fever pitch. Well its not Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones or John Bonham the people have come to see. In fact, the year is 1986 and the venue is the Findon Hotel in Adelaide and the Zep Boys are about to perform their first show on the Australian Rock Circuit. Now it is almost 19 years later and the Zep Boys are still touring the country recruiting Zeppelin fans with note perfect performances of the most famous and biggest rock band in history... Led Zeppelin. The show has evolved since the early days of the Zep Boys, Vince Contarino the vocalist says "Our set used to be about 75 minutes, but now with the added acoustic set, the drum solo in Moby Dick, a guitar solo and an extended version of Whole Lotta Love to add to all the classics like Rock N Roll, Black Dog and Stairway To Heaven plus obscure Zeppelin like Ten Years Gone, Custard Pie and Misty Mountain Hop the entire performance can be two and a half hours long".
