Having twice visited our shores on board the Big Day Out and Soundwave Festivals respectively, this September sees Britains most explosive post- hardcore act Enter Shikari head to Australia for their first ever headline tour!
Boasting a genre-smashing sound that melds punk, hardcore, electronica, dubstep, drum n bass and rock into the one frenzied package, Enter Shikari took their native UK by storm with their gold-selling debut, Take To The Skies. Dozens of tours and a couple of hundred thousand record sales later, the ambitious quartet set their sights on the rest of the world, with hugely successful stints in the US and of course, Australia further expanding their fiercely loyal fan base.
While so many young bands have dropped the ball with that all-important follow-up record, Enter Shikaris 2009 sophomore effort Common Dreads was a critical success, with English heavy music bible Kerrang! awarding the album a perfect score!
Joining Enter Shikari will be Melbournes most progressive metalcore sextet House VS Hurricane, who of course released their stunning Perspectives album in March of this year, as well as embarking on their own headline trek and appearing at Sydneys prestigious Come Together Festival.
